Busy Saturday

Up early (for a weekend) – Bee surprised me by beetling off to a yoga class leaving me to feed the DK and somehow get Max to a soccer match in – [looks it up in Google Maps] – the Pocket area; 7 miles away @8:30am,  so that rules out cycling. Best option is to cadge a lift but first, breakfast!

First of many requests to ‘use my iPhone’…..

Call from Cecile to ask for a lift to the game for her boy, Coco. I explain the conundrum and suggest Alyssa and add that she might like to ask if we can swing along too……

Call back from Alyssa to say it’s ok, but no room for me so I get to hang out till Bee comes home.

Then it’s off to the theater to drop off the kids for their play. An odd mixture of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Alice in Wonderland’. The play is fun, the kids enjoy themselves doing it (India has such a huge grin on her face that I’m worried she’s going to corpse

CUTE (as a basket full of kittens)We all love them  I thought I’d try and make one. Simple enough using Adobe Fireworks. I used a photo I took ten years ago when I went to pick out a (Maine Coon) kitten from a litter with very good parentage (This was just before I had any children of my own). The one in the middle isn’t the one I picked – That would be ‘William’ a silver tabby, now sadly departed  but the picture was so cute I couldn’t resist using it.

The next one actually used ‘William of Orangevale’, our beloved cat for ten years (he died recently from throat cancer). He was a plucky little kitten ….

Compromise - there won't always be a cardboard box available

This one is my favourite  who doesn’t love kitties?
